Cover Fire is a first-person shooter game, where players take control of a small group of mercenaries facing off against Tetracorp, an evil mega-corporation that is occupying different areas of the planet, subjecting their people and seizing all of the precious resources. Luckily, our little group of heroes is there to stop evil in its tracks.
All in all, control systems in Cover Fire are very well suited to touch devices. By sliding your finger to the left side of your screen you’re aiming your weapon. On the right side there is also the trigger button, but most importantly, you don’t need to take care in making sure your hero always moves to the nearest cover because he’ll do so automatically.
Cover Fire’s story mode has over sixty different missions, in each you’ll need to work with and battle against with different characters. Each character, in addition, allows you to use different firearms: you’ll gain access to sniper rifles, machine guns, missile launchers, and much more. As you play, and make your way up the ranks, you’ll also unlock loads of new skills and soldiers.
Cover Fire is excellent shooter, which not only offers spectacular graphics, but also a great variety of weapons and missions. The final shot in each mission, allows you a super slow-mo point of view reminiscent of the popular ‘Sniper Elite’.
